Many Hats Needed for My Story Time!

Today I read three picture books at a Cub Scout day camp as their after lunch entertainment. I wore the bowler hat and monster horns for JUMPY JACK AND GOOGILY by Meg Rosoff and Sophie Blackall, the sideways red ball cap for ICE CREAM SUMMER by Peter Sis, and the red stocking hat for THE GREAT PAPER CAPER by Oliver Jeffers.

I had so much fun! Thank you, Boy Scouts of America for inviting me back again this year!

  1. Their manager rocks! Thanks to their great team, I'm so happy I chose this venue for my event! I had a great time at Seattle venues and think the atmosphere is as good as it gets. I will be astonished if I ever find a negative review on these guys.

  4. I get to share my thoughts through my own blog and in sermons most Sunday mornings. Those people who serve the congregation as Worship Weavers often have an opportunity to share their thoughts on things that matter. And people who are a part of a covenant group can talk with each other, Yet there is no good way for most of us to share our thoughts, opinions, musings, and meditations with the wider congregation.
