Center Elementary School - Mayfield Village, OHIO!

Wow! I had a blast at CENTER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in Mayfield Village today! I spoke about BABY BEARDS! and "small moments" to the 2nd and 3rd grade classes. Plus, I taught a writing lesson with all the second graders! The students were observant, hard working, and full of great questions!! (As an added bonus, there were lots of places to take selfies around the school...I couldn't decide which one to post, so you get them all!) Thank you to all the teachers for making me feel very welcome!! I had a great day!

    Ironically, I was trying to stay out of the house because it made me sad to be there without [Dillon]. I went in to work and our administrative assistant's daughter was there with two new foster pups, six weeks old. They were two out of seven from a litter that was found by the side of the road in a box. I held Libby for at least an hour, and the rest is history!

    While fish oil supplements contain the “brain healthy” fats called EPA and DHA, those two are not technically the “essential” fats. The plant omega-3 known as ALA is essential and that is because our bodies can convert ALA into EPA and DHA when necessary.
